August Script-Time:The power is within you!

Welcome back, is it me or is this year really flying by? August is here!

I hope you were blessed by last months scripture, and are already thinking and applying your gifts. Impacting the world and those around you.

Sometimes it can be scary to step out and do something new, even if that is meeting new people, speaking at an event, starting a new job or business. Whatever is it, we can be settled knowing that we serve a powerful God who never leaves us.

Which leads nicely onto this months scripture……

Before you start reading you may want to find a quite space, and grab a notebook. As you read this scripture, really think about what your reading, note down any thoughts or feelings that come to your mind.

Once you have done this then read the passage again and note down anything else that you might hear or see.

Scripture:

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.

Ephesians 3:20 NIV

Reflection:

Now you will have all got different revelation that will be personal to you. Now reflect and meditate on what you have written, spend time asking God is there anything that you need to do with what you have heard or written.

There may be an instruction or a confirmation, this is personal between you and God.

This was a reminder to me that God’s power and strength is done by the Holy Spirit’s power within us, rather than by our human strength.

Sometimes we forget this and try to work things out on our own, creating a whole mess behind us.

Often we won’t go for a promotion or apply for a mortgage out of fear or simply not feeling like you have the strength to.

God tells us in this scripture, that His means for accomplishing more than we can imagine comes through His strength. Therefore we need to lean, rely and trust that if we put a step forward, He will give us the strength and work things out in our favor.

Now go back and meditate on this scripture and ask yourself: where have you been fighting in your own strength ? Ask Him to reveal this to you. Remember you have to be still and present to hear from God. Don’t forget to write down what you are hearing and seeing.

Action:

My action is to STOP WORRYING, yup I can be a right little worry wort!

What did God say to do to you ? what action are you going to take ?

Prayer:

Please feel free to pray your own prayer as you feel lead to do so.

Lord your are my strength, you are my rock and without you I am nothing. I know you walk in front of me, beside me and behind in, therefore I will not walk in fear but boldly take charge of my life.

You are the same Lord that raised from the dead, the same Lord that feed the 5,000, the same Lord that resides in me. Almighty and Powerful.

Therefore why should I worry? do you not know what goes before me? have you not given me the strength as you did with David.

As I got about my day and apply this scripture to my heart and life, Lord I pray that when challenges come, as they will do. I never forget who you are and who I am through you. A MIGHTY CHILD OF GOD! For the battle is not mine but yours God.
